Famous for its tropical climate, beautiful patrons and vibrant nightlife, there are few urban beaches with as much clout in the world as South Beach. From watersports to clothing-optional areas to its close proximity to the Art Deco District and Ocean Drive, there's an abundance of reasons why people from all over flock to this stretch of shore 365 days a year.

South Beach is an outdoor attraction in the neighborhood of South Beach, also known as the Art Deco District. The first street you'll hit when heading from the ocean to the city is Ocean Drive, an iconic stretch of neon-lit hotels and restaurants that's hands down one of Miami Beach's most popular tourist attractions. Beyond, there's the Blue Moon Hotel on Collins Avenue, restaurants, shops, art museums and music venues to visit as well.

Things to Check Out

There are quite a few things to check out when visiting South Beach. First off, be sure to take a moment and enjoy the hot, soft white sand that runs the shore and the light-blue, tropical water that will make you truly feel like you're on vacation. When exploring the ocean, look into the many watersport and boat rental opportunities available around the island.
Another thing you need to check out on your visit to South Beach is the people. Whenever visitors travel here, they always talk about how beautiful the women and men are, but there's only one way to experience it-get out and enjoy the beach with all of them!
