Yoga On The Beach
Walk down to 3rd Street for free beach yoga. The program is made possible by eight yogis who wake up every morning to lead sessions at 7am. All they ask is for a donation of any amount to join. Don’t forget to bring your own mat! Visit their website for a complete schedule.
Running on South Beach Boardwalk
The four-mile boardwalk runs from 5th Street to 46th Street. You’ll run past views of the crystal blue Atlantic ocean and many Miami Beach attractions like Art Deco hotels and the 36th Street Park. The wooden and paved paths make this run a breeze on your feet. It’s also a good way to explore the South Beach, Mid Beach, and North Beach neighborhoods.
Outdoor Gym at Lummus Park
The iconic Lummus Park has various fitness equipment for you to use at your discretion. It also has beach volleyball nets, if you want to play and still get a good workout. After you’re tired and sweaty, all you have to do is take a few steps down to the ocean to cool off! The park is located on 5th Street and Ocean Drive.
Swimming at Flamingo and Normandy Pool
You can use Flamingo Park’s eight lane pool or Normandy Park’s four lane pool to get a full-body workout. The pool is free for residents and $10 for non residents (18+). It can be used all year round, and during the winter months they heat it to a comfortable 79 – 84 degree-fahrenheit temperature.
Bike Through Miami Beach
