South Beach Sands
Running on the soft sands of South Beach has many benefits, such as easening stress on your feet, strengthening your ankles, and increased resistance training. The beach is also an excellent place to do some people watching and enjoy the fresh ocean air. After your run is over, you can always cool off with a dip in the water.
Lummus Park Sidewalk
The iconic Lummus Park runs from 5th to 15th Street. This route will look familiar to anyone who has ever watched any movies or TV shows that take place in Miami Beach, since it’s such a popular cinematic backdrop. The paved path is perfect for runners and is also good for finding other active people working out and playing sports like volleyball.
Miami Beach Boardwalk
The four-mile boardwalk runs from 5th Street to 46th Street. You’ll run past views of the crystal blue Atlantic ocean and many of Miami Beach attractions like Art Deco hotels and the 36th Street park. The wooden and paved paths makes this run a breeze on your feet. It’s a good way to explore the South Beach, Mid Beach, and North Beach neighborhoods.
South Pointe Park
Located on the edge of South Beach, South Pointe Park, is the largest park in Miami Beach. It offers views of Biscayne Bay, Fisher Island, Downtown, and the Atlantic Ocean. With a long paved path and small hill for incline, which helps burn more calories, you’re guaranteed to get a great workout. There’s also a water feature that kids usually play in but after a hard workout, why not?
