In a city with year-round warmth, plenty of sunshine, and no shortage of gorgeous beaches, it’s common for visitors to spend much of their time in South Florida on the beach. While we’re avid beach enthusiasts, we also appreciate the other fun and exciting things to do in Miami Beach:
Miami Beach Golf
Our professional-grade golf courses are graced by some of the most well-maintained and beautiful landscapes in the country. Since it’s never too cold to play 18 around here, golf in Miami Beach is one of the area’s most popular attractions. Long-storied establishments like the Miami Beach Golf Club — along with the picturesque, hidden fairways of Normandy Shores Golf Club — provide a variety of terrain, scenery and challenges to golfers of all skill and experience levels.
Parks in Miami Beach
Whenever you’re looking for some exercise — or a nice place to walk, sit, or play — stop by one of Miami Beach’s many parks. Lummus Park sits right along historic Ocean Drive, between the strip and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Lummus Park features playground and workout equipment. Flamingo Park is one of our city’s more populated parks, filled with athletic fields, courts, a dog park and more! Explore further at the Miami Beach Parks and Recreation website to see other parks around town.
Outdoor Bars in Miami Beach
To take things back to a beachfront state of mind, we want to remind readers that there’s plenty of outdoor drinking and socializing to be done in Miami Beach. Check out one of our many outdoor bars and lounges to enjoy the finer parts of the local social scene while basking in the warm Florida sun. Two of our favorite outdoor establishments include Hyde Beach and Fifi Beach Club.
